In less than 8 hours, 24 Hour Mobile Diesel Mechanic Completes Effort

McGann & Chester’s 24 hour mobile diesel mechanic service was contacted to assist with a disabled, delivery truck. Our team arrived to find a 26 foot international box truck with an oil leak. We were told that the truck had been out of commission for over two days.

Instead of bringing the box truck into our repair shop, we saved time by doing the work right there in the parking lot. During the heat of summer and without the benefit of shade our guys worked diligently to solve the problem.

First, they applied diagnostics and found that the truck needed a new, high pressure oil line. So, they dug in and removed the filter and the filter housing. Then they dealt with the inner core tubes and then the connected wiring. They applied the new braided hose, hooked everything back up again. Then the second problem arose. Diagnostics revealed that they needed to replace the oil sensor as well. To get at the sensor, they disassembled everything again. Now they could replace the sensor.

The McGann & Chester’s 24 hour mobile diesel mechanic service team completed all these repairs during an 8 hour window. We just want to tip our hats to the team. Great job.

I am a little worried about doing any repairs on a diesel truck I want to get this October. Thanks for explaining that it would be smart to keep an eye out for oil leaks. Also, it might be smart for me to find a good diesel truck.
